承接句模板句型

分析：考生在写承接句时要点明图画反映的主题，然后围绕主题展开阐述。例如，2011年真题的图画“旅途之‘余"”，反映的是环境污染问题，考生可以套用承接句模板句型②写出下列句子：“By drawing this picture, the painter hassuccessfully drawn our attention to the problem of environmental pollution.”又如，2009年真题的图画“网络的’近与‘远”，反映的是网络的利与弊，对于这种正反议论型的题目，考生可以套用承接句模板句型③或句型④。

考生写完承接句后，紧接着就要进行详细的阐述和论证，笔者将这部分称为“展开段”。根据不同的主题，考生可以在展开段阐释、分析造成某种现象的原因，或是对某种观点进行对比论证，或是为支持自己的观点提供数据或实例。

原因阐释模板句型

① There are several factors contributing to this social phenomenon. The first contributory factor lies in原因1. As a result，原因1造成的结果。Another critical element is原因2, which causes an array of problems. For example，原因2造成的结果。In addition, I personally believe原因3might give rise to this inclination.

分析：对于图画所反映的某种现象，如经济增长（economic growth）、人口膨胀（population expansion）等，考生可以在展开段中重点分析造成此种现象的原因（即原因阐释模板句型①）。对于图画所体现的某种精神品质，如诚实（honesty）、独立（independence）、坚持不懈（persistence），孝顺（filial piety）等，考生可结合文章主题探讨其存在的重要意义（即原因阐释模板句型②）。例如，在2012年的真题中，图画所反映的主题是乐观（optimism），考生就可以在展开段中参照原因阐释模板句型②写出如下内容。

示例1:Why, you may wonder, is the spirit of optimism so essential to today"s people? Two fundamental factors, in my mind, could account for the necessity of it. For one thing, optimistic people always look on the bright side of life. For another, optimism plays an indispensable role in success, because in the face of difficulty, optimisticpeople will never flinch and will find a way to overcome obstacles. It is one of the fundamental attributes of top performers, which separate the high achievers from the rest of the pack.

对比论证模板句型①On the one hand, advocates claim that it could give rise to a number of benefits. For example,…However, those who strongly oppose are not among the minority. They hold that…Although…seems a double-edged sword, I do believe the advantages still outweigh the disadvantages…②Some people argue that…However, from my perspective, this assertion tends to be partial…分析：有些真题要求考生对某一事物或现象的利弊或差异之处进行一番讨论，这时考生就可采用对比论证的方式。论证时，考生既可以像对比论证模板句型①那样分别论述正反方的观点，然后表明自己倾向于哪一方的观点，也可以像对比论证模板句型②那样，先论证正方或反方的观点，继而提出反对的理由，后给出自己的观点。例如，2009年的“网络的’近‘与’远”，就是一道典型的正反议论型题目，考生可以在展开段说明网络是把双刃剑，在拉近人们在虚拟空间距离的同时，却使人们在现实生活中越来越疏远，例文如下。

示例2:On the one hand, advocates claim that it could give rise to a number of benefits. For example, people with different languages and backgrounds across the globe can connect through the Internet, which makes the world much smaller. This allows us to develop interpersonal skills and improve our confidence when communicating. However, those who strongly oppose are not among the minority. They hold that the Internet fails to offer us opportunities to communicate face-to-face. Consequently, we spend less and less time with our families and friends.
